Faster Than Life documentary
Faster Than Life was filmed from 2019-2022 by independent filmmakers Felipe Costa and Chris Gulland. The film has a very strong and unique story in the history of motorcycle racing and in particular the Isle of Man TT races. The main character is Dave Madsen-Mygdal (age 67) who has 149 TT race starts since the 1980’s (more than anyone in the TT's history) and he still road races today.
The story covers the generations of Madsen-Mygdal’s who are podium finishing road racers but with a focus on Dave, a privateer who has turned up to race every year, how he has overcome racing tragedy in the family and culminates in following Dave and his team through TT 2022 giving behind the scenes view and showing the determination required to get onto the starting line.
The film has been produced to have an appeal to a wide audience even to those who might not necessarily be interested in motorbikes.
